Most aftermarket turbos have clockable housings. Meaning that you can adjust it however you need to for the the IC plumbing. The way mine is shown in the picture is just for fitment, I clocked it abit more clockwise for the final fitment.

Sweet man, Congrats on the new shop! Hope things work out well for you. You did a hell of a job on my Manifold and DP, nothing but compliments have come my way on them.

Car is running very well right now...PM me if you want and I'll tell you all about it. I want to be able to keep this thread on topic.

Congrats on your new site & shop!

You should post pics of your car, and other customers; as there are a lot of people jumping on the "pretty" bandwagon...

Justin, I still have the manifold sitting in a corner of the garage (along with a whole bunch of parts), and on top of that; I can't find any pics of it on my PC. Don't worry, will get some during the weekend

BTW - Don't be shy, show them your car

There will be plenty of show off of my car pretty soon, I am doing another build on it soon and will be documenting the entire process in the form of a writeup on here. If someone wants to see my cas as it is now they can check out the following links...

P.S. If someone feels the need they can post pics up, I just don't want to promote myself to much on here as I am not a paying vendor....Yet!

Thanks!

I bought it when I had the "drag racing" mentality; will see how it works on a street\auto X mentality.

It will work great with a properly sized turbo, I have one on a car with a 62-1 1.15a/r and am seeing full boost (15 psi) at 3500 rpm's and pulls hard to around 8000. The car made 360hp and 290tq on a dyno dynamics...

DAMN, my bad; I thought he was talking about the intake manifold

I have ABSOLUTELLY no doubt that the turbo manifold WILL perform as I expected. I did a FULL research before deciding which one I was going to invest my money on.

It is actually more for turbo response than anything else, I have been building manifolds this way for about six years and have seen great results. By keeping the runners completely separate all the way to the divided turbo you keep the pressure and velocity at its maximum thus spooling the turbo quicker, you can not do this with a single gate. I usually see full boost about 500-700rpm sooner and have seen as much as 1000rpm sooner vs some real crappy designs, The fact that you can control boost perfectly is just an added advantage.

Had my car tuned back in summer 06, put down about 470-480whp at 18psi on 110 leaded. Pretty conservative tune at that point.

I only run 12psi on 93 octane on the street.

The manifold is working out awesome! I love it, and get compliments everywhere I go. I definitely appreciate the work you put in on it for me.

Took the car to the track this past weekend for the first time. Made the first 4 passes of my life. Keep in mind that im still running stock 16x7 wheels and kumho ecsta SPT street tires. Boost controller read peak of 11psi. 1st and 3rd runs were no traction through 4th, and had 14.1 and 14.2 @110 timeslips. 2nd run was 12.9 @ 117 w/ 2.1 60'. 4th and last run of the day, 12.6 @116.9 w/ 2.1 60'.

Overall not bad...much more in it...I believe its an 11sec car that will trap 120's on 12 psi - low boost...just need traction.

What are you doing to your car? When will the site be completely finished?

Luke
Not bad at all man, If you can get that thing to stick it should run 11's right now. Put some tires on there and get your 60' down to 1.6ish and it will be in the 11's. Nice job!

My car is getting a 13brew, full bridge, rx8 eccentric shaft and stat gears, my new LPS apex seal prototypes and exhaust sleeves, custom upper plenum with duel throttle body's, x8 1680cc injectors, 74mm bb turbo w/1.32 divided x-trim, ceramic coatings everywhere, 26x12x4" intercooler 3" to duel 3" IC plumbing, 4" ss exhaust, Autronic sm4/r500cdi engine management with 4 coils, and Magnaflow fuel system components. Also exedy tripple plate clutch, DSS axles and drive line... Thats about all I can think of for now. I will be doing a full write up on the build on here once I get the shop done.

The web site is just waiting on me to get more product on there and more pictures. I am going to start advertising on here when its all done. It is functional now though and I am going to be developing a full race style manifold for FC's when I do my car that will use larger tubing along with duel 44mm Tial wastegates and will be matched to my new exhaust sleeves for the best possible flow... Pretty exciting stuff coming up Im really stoked to get everything rolling!

Keep in touch Luke

Justin

Boost Innovations - This one is custom for their car, but I called them and ordered a standard one, so I know they will make one. It should be around the $500 mark.
