Haha, I usually only list engine/performance oriented mods, not hideous actions taken against the poor car! I really don't like it, i wish it wasn't there. How in gods name do I register @ teamgtus? The link returns a 404

No, seriously. It *IS* slow. I don't know what it's issue is at the moment, at first it was stuck aux ports, then the VDI wasn't working. In need of some help. Oher than that, it's perfect. Just a few spots along the sunroof that need to be repainted, and the clear coat is fading along the door. Other than that it's perfect. I was wondering when you'd notice I got one

Yeah I forgot the only page right now is the main page. Between getting my GTUs back up and running and planning a wedding I keep forgetting to upload the new pages hehe

Just send all your GTUs info to info@teamgtus.com and I will put it on the spreadsheet.

Alright, will do. That thing feels so much different from my other cars. Shifting it is like shifting a brand new car, notchy and perfect. Brake pedal feels like stepping on a squid or something, ahh well, I sure am happy with it so far!

What's the deal with everyone being against the moon roof? It's not spectacular or anything, but I didn't know it was that hated. I've never have had one.... but I like the T-tops in the Z32. I like how light it makes the car inside at night.

Maybe I would hat it if I had it.

Well. I don't mind the stock one all that much, but this one's not stock, and it makes the GTUs seem a bit 'fake', althought it does look pretty nice being able to see the stars at night.

What's the rarity for the track models in color vs years vs options again? Isn't it something like:

1987/88 Sport - Fairly common
1987/88 Sport 2+2 - lucky dog
1989 GTU-S Red - fairly rare
---(ac or factory moonroof - wow)
1989 GTU-S Black - very rare
---(ac or factory moonroof - wow)
1989 GTU-S White - OMG You lucky SOB
---(ac or factory moonroof - wow)
1990 GTU-S White, Red, Black - You best be a bonified Rotorhead or sell it to me now!!!

Also, from what I saw, there was *no* option for a sunroof. I do have AC though!

Yo,

I believe the only GTUs factory option is the A/C. Sunroofs were not an option and make the car more desirable. That's why people hate to see sunroofs on GTUs.

It's been my experience that for color rarity it goes:

White > Red > Black

You hardly see any black GTUs.

Dang that was one hell of a day to bring him down to get it. But then once i saw it I knew it was worth the trip. Everything on it almost looks perfect. The pictures dont even give it justice.

Yeah, I was awe struck when I saw the black GTUs, I love black FC's, and to be as rare as it is, I had to get it! Amazing that they sometimes sell for so little, guess people just get lucky! This one was $3,000. It does have the A/C option, and it functions properly. Only electrical gremlin is the wiper switch, and the seatbelt is screwed, but mazda has to fix that for me. Were there any other 'special' options? And what do you people think of the seats? I HATE them. It sits too high and it makes my lower back hurt.

Hey Rattie,
I've sent you a couple of Pms and emails, but you haven't answered, so I'm sending to the forum, since you are active here. I called on the car as it was in autotraderonline.com not knowing that you had purchased it already. I figured with my luck and the odds that the one Tom Day owned had to be the one you bought. If it IS the Tom Day car you bought, I know what you paid, and I'll give you an additional $1800 once you get it "faster." No kidding. If you want to keep it and turbo it, that's fine and up to you and all that, but if I had a GTUs I'd keep it the way it is now, (yeah, even with the moon roof) and just maybe change the fifth gear ratio for better mileage on the Interstate at 80 mph (but maybe not, I'd have to see.) Anyway, just wanted you to know that I'm a buyer if you're a seller, hate to forum this, but I had no other apparent choice. And, if you're not selling I'm STILL LOOKING FOR A NICE GTUs.

Regards to all,
Tom Reynolds
