Looks like all it needs in some TLC. The motor might have excellent compression and this may be a bargin:

Um..... I don't think I would buy that car because the moron who is storring it is exactly a moron. THE LAST, and I MEAN LAST surface you allow a car to "sleep on" is cement. Wonder why those tires look flat? And since it is technically the 2nd gen of the 2nd gens than Poo Poo to you, ta ta. And any car that needs TLC needs only time. People who are lazy **** me off, sorry

I'm guessing that is no "Rotary" or "Other" option under engine size on E-Bay? Besides, why would you want to waste your money on a slushbox?

Oh no there is definitly a Rotary option on ebay. I sold my first 7 on ebay(when I was 16) and it takes a bit of looking. However, ebay is the bomb I bought the car for about 1500 and some stupid jocks kept bidding and out bidding each other, made 2500 on it and only had about 200 in it. So made a killing however, I wish I had it back my 89 GTUs needs to either be drivin and drivin hard or it needs to be rebuilt. MOney please?

Keep in mind we're all looking for the "diamonds in the rough." Like the dude who bought a carbon locked GXL for $150, pored some ATF fluid in the engine, and BAMO - PERFECTLY GOOD GXL for $150 (da bastad').

This one might be in a similar situation. "Dude don't know Jack" but he might have kept the oil changed every $3000 miles and the car's never overheated. All you need to know is what's the compression numbers on the engine.
