You put in a used Logicon? Right? More than one bad one was made with the same symptoms. Either patch in a known good one or download the manual http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/Technical_I...ice_manual.htm go to Body Electrical Systems part one and look for the troubleshooting of the Logicon. It gives you steps where you can put power and a ground on theproper wires to see if the Mode Select motor is working or not or the Air Mix motor. Then you can determine if the Logicons you have are at fault. Its a free download. No cost. Your logicon is the same one that is in a 86-88 so you should be able to use the 88 online manual on your car.

Hey Crusader,

There is a little drive motor behind the dash on top of the transmission tunnel that often fails when the Logicon does. It opens and closed a door in the climate control system to re-direct air. Check to see if it is working.
