I know, I am half way tempted to keep it and fix it up. It needs a fair amount of body work however.

So very nice. Good luck, if you need any help, I'd love to help, how I'd get there is the tricky part. It's been ****** cold lately here!

Hey, would you be interested in selling the FTP lenses?

Mine were blacked out by the previous owner. I took them out and stripped the paint but they're still in bad shape. Worst part is that i can't find a junkyard around that has an RX-7 with those lenses. The only one i found only had one, and it was broken

Well I need the hood for the swap, and most likely the nose as well. The spoiler is kind of broken at one or two of the mounts. As far as the other stuff. I won't be selling any of it until after the swap is complete. You have first dibs Ryde _Or_Die when that time comes if you are still interested then.

Alright, the reason I ask is that is essentially my car. I really need a front bumper and would like to get the same color so I won't have to paint it. Hood isn't a big deal and spoiler was a plus item. How badly is it broken anyways? I know alot of them have cracks at the mounts or is it broken clean through? Let me know and if you want to sell it. Oh and the sunroof panel if it doesn't have any rust. Thanks.

Sonic, thanks again for the offer. I'm not sure how this will play out yet. Also thanks for all your advise, I probably wouldn't be attempting this project had it not been for your encourgment and good advice at the research phase of the game.

Trust me it looks worse in person. Part of the rear quarter is rusted on the passenger side. the nose needs some work, driver's door is starting to form some rust towards the bottom, and some other things i can't recall at this time.

I'm definately strugling with the idea however, when I first started out in this endeavor, I never expected to find a complete car. I've spent the last 1.5 months looking for all the essential parts to do the swap. As well as procuring the tools for the job. Then this car comes out of nowhere and I find myself at a crossroads. Will my 8th RX-7 be a reborn convertible or a restored TII?

Just be careful I don't sneak over there and run off with it. :-D I think weather should be getting better pretty shortly here, you find all the tools you'll need to rent to do it already?

I'm borrowing the engine hoist. All that's left is the cruicial set of jack stands. Sam's club had a sweet deel on them about amonth ago, now they don't carry them.

As crazy as it sounds, ebay's not a bad source for stuff like that. I got my engine hoist and some other things from there for unimaginably cheap
