My only issue is what happens in the rain? It will be like taking a hose and sticking in front of the air filter!! Any ideas on this Justin?

So, I walk from October to May? I mean could there be some kind of block off plate to put in there to close it off during rain? How do guys w/ WS-6 Trans Ams get away with it?

If you want i will make an aluminum block off plate that will fit perfectly across the hole and latch on the inside so you dont see the latches. it will also come with a piece screen type stuff (i have yet to look for something that would look good) so that large stuff doesnt fly in there.

looks good man, you could just put a piece of lexan or the alum plate over it when it rains you can buy wire mesh from the local hardware store in the A/C department, or in Wal Mart, they have it in the A/C section of the store, they have black mesh and alum mesh

Here's mine- It's pretty small though- it's more for functionality than aesthetics.

I like the scetch of the scoop- but I think it would compliment the 7's lines more of the upright louvers had a stright slant edge up- not radiused.... I pesonally think it would look too "****".. but that's my own opinion, I don't mean any offfense by it- so don't take any!!! (contructive crit.! )

i can do the straight lines as well. remember if you give me an idea i will tell you if i can do it and as long as it isnt really complicated i can make it. this will be a very flexible thing and you can have it pretty much anyways you want. larger, smaller, different shape

tell me
