Anyone use the oil temperature and pressure adapter from Racing Beat, part #11802? I am wondering how hard they are to install, also how is the result from that adapter? I assume really good? I am looking to get one, it seems like you can keep teh stock pressure sender in place if you get this right? Let me know,t hanks

Haven't we ALL heard this
I bought it for my '91 TII. If you look at my thread, "Wrapped downpipe and engine progress" you can see it where the oil filter is. I have installed it with the engine out of the car. It was a piece of a cake Not hard but just some work with the engine in place. I made one mistake when I installed it. I guess I used to much torque and the stud broke. So I used a bolt with an allen head. I cut it the right length and screwed it in where the stud was supposed to go. Seals fine.
I put in an Autometer Oil pressure and temp. sending unit. I am happy with it. You can retain the stock sender.

Ditto.. Although if you do it in the car, install the block, then the senders.. That oil pressure sender from autometer will get in the way if you try to install it first.

Two 10mm nuts hold the oil filter "thingie" to the engine block, from the bottom. remove those, and remove the oil filter "thingie"
Screw the new studs into the oil filter block, install new o-rings, and sandwich the guage block between the oil filter neck and the block. tighten.
Easy . Just kinda tricky to get in there with a 10mm wrench.
