lol, uh. If you want it to look extra clean you usually scrub the insides of the spokes with a sponge and wheel cleaner. I've worked at BMW as a car wash bitch so I know how you feel, haha.

They do look better it person. Here is what I did to paint them. First clean them off really well. Next I just used 150 grit sandpaper to get the clearcoat off and then rinsed off the rims again. Dry the rims really well and then spray a nice coat of primer. Wait for the primer to fully dry and then mask what you need to. Then went over it with primer with the same 150 grit sandpaper to give it a rougher texture so the paint would stick easier. Wipe down the rim to make sure you get all the particles out. I used high gloss black duplicolor engine paint. I did two coats and then did 2 coats of clear. Came out pretty nice.
Thanks, that is hot!! any shots of them on a car?

hmm, i still dont know if i want to paint my center caps black as well, leave them off and paint the inside black , or leave them on unpainted. With them on and unpainted it looks pretty good.

for whoever asked,
that is a apexi dual, with the DS removed ( took out Y pipe and just made a small straight pipe to run one muffler ) , it has tein S tech's ( great ride quality but deff. not a peformance spring ), tires were like 205-60-15.

yep...that looks very race. Good Show and very clean ride! (is the T for time only? I've never seen that???)

I think I'll paint the center as you did...probably look pretty sweet with my white/black top vert.

not looking forward to masking

If you go back over the edges with a small paint brush you can clean them up alitte better. I did this on my old Momo Quazars. They had a freakin 3 inch lip so there was 10 times more masking then the BBS.

Thanks for all the compliments, my poor FC is blushing.

The lip is off a early - mid 90s 626. It was 2$ at the junkers and uses 90% of the stock mounting holes.

The T is for Street Tire class.
