Pic of my RX

Needs some outside TLC but the Int. is really nice. I THOUGHT it was a 87 but its not. its a 86

The bad:
little rust in a few spots.
needs a water seal. (Maybe a Rad cap. The guy put a autozone cap on it. still pushes water into the overflow sometimes.)

Plan for the car are fit the little things rust spots,Mirrors and a spoiler
pick up a junk yard motor to rebuild (1st rotory motor rebuild)
Last will be some 17's and paint.

I really cant wait to pick up a spair rotory to get my hands dirty on. Ive always been a piston guy. few 9second camaros. currently building a 434sbc with a huge turbo. shooting for 900 rwhp for this cruiser..but always liked rx7's

The mazda id like to Get a TII motor and shoot for 12.8's and keep it as a daily driver. I do ceramic, thermal and powder coating so I plan to coat the rotors, housings, bearings etc...

now for the pic's...

BTW I picked this up in trade for a Set of Eagle Hbeam Rods for a 400sb. Not a bad deal if ya ask me.

some other misc. pic's
http://www.cecoatings.com/images/CarStuff/RX7/

last but not least. Awesome site. Ive been reading for a few weeks. Feel free to pick on the noob, I know how it goes.

Clean looking interior. That is one of the few unbroken S4 stereo surrounds that I've seen.

Thanks, I'm shocked the Int cleaned up so well. The guy was a smoker and the shifter/ash tray area looked like a damm ashtry. You can see the ashtray door is all faded and needs replaced.

Ohhh another thing wrong or I cant figure out are the driving lights/Fog lights(?) the clear lenses. They dont work...

dont replace the ashtray... clean it up real good and spray it with krylon fusion simi gloss black paint (the kind that bonds to plastic) and it will look good as new... i painted my gauge bezel surround, radio surround, and ashtray and they look brand spankin new and the paint wont chip off or fade

I actually prefer SEM over krylon fusion. its a TON better.

Ive though about it. I have a 305 TPI motor with some little stuff, worked 700r4 with 2200 stall.

Ran 12.80 in my WS6TA. So the thought has crossed my mind of droping that in the RX and puting a GN motor in the TA.

or the LC2 in the RX. or just revuild a rotory.. well see when this one goes out..
