Pic of my engine bay. Is this wire a ground?
My multimeter broke so I can't check if it's really a ground. The wire is a black (faded striped white or yellow, can't tell) and it runs away from the fuse box.
It'd be great if someone could tell me what it goes to considering I have been having grounding issues. In the pic you will notice that my main engine ground has been relocated to the part of the chassis near the driver's headlight and that I have some grounds running to my leading and trailing coils.
Here's a link to the picture because it's fairly large.

But isn't usually one ground related to more than just one single electrically-controlled unit?
So this ground may effect some other things is where I am getting at. Just stuffing away a ground and keeping it away from a positive doesn't seem like the best idea to me.

it turns the a/c clutch on for AC, its only for the AC button so when you turn the button on it engages the clutch for the AC and sense the AC is removed you dont need that wire

It is not a ground, Ive got the same one dangling about in the same area. How about cleaning up the tap on the front plate where the AC brackets used to bolt to and use that as a ground instead of that one youve got connected to the CAS bolt

ITS NOT A GROUND!!!! ITS 12VDC switched from the HIGH LOW HIGH switch via a relay. It energizes the field that causes the AC clutch to actuate. Just wrap it in some electrical tape and call it a day.
And YES!! Get rid of that Auto Zone special! It pulls like max, 1900 CFM on a good clean 13.7 or so volts, which with that 55 amp, you dont have. And for that matter, where is your undertray?
No wonder you overheated..

Actually that fan works great and I have never needed my undertray. I have never had any overheating issues except for once. That was when my main heater core hose burst and all my coolant flooded out, and it was too late when I noticed it.

I've already been enjoying it. I have heard all about not using electric fans, but I have never had an issue. I am considering using the stock one again as soon as I replace my radiator (which will probably be within this year) with possibly a Koyo aluminum radiator.
I don't disregard that advice at all, but I have had no issues whatsoever. I drove over 3 hours straight in the car a couple months ago with no problems. I live in Virginia though, and this car isn't really ran in the summer so the external temperatures have been fair to the car as well.

You really need to read up on how the cooling system actually works and how what you have done affects it. Arguing with us that its not doing anything is pointless. Besides that your ALT doesn’t make enough output to supply sufficient power to the fan and the rest of your cars electrical.

You think I'm arguing, but I'm not.
I'm just merely stating that I have encountered no issues related to it... yet.
Plus, I bought the car like that. The previous owner did a really shitty job with the car. Everything done to my car was done by me (or paid to have done by me) except for the shocks, coil springs, rims, electric fan, and TBM.
I've spent $2000 in reversing the damage he did. And approximately $2500 in upgrades.
