As a follow up to my Mazda logo/font question, is there someone out there who could take the following RX-8 logo and replace the 8 with a 7?

My game plan is turn that logo (in lieu of Mazda written as originally requested) into a decal for my car, so thanks for the help!

I'm pretty sure thats polakgraphics logo... might want to check with them before you do anything with it. Just FYI.

 

Yeah, I loved your logo at first then I noticed the color on the "7" was off. But I put more blame on the poor image quality of the orignal. IMO the original needs to be fixed first.

There's a couple FB owner's here that have had them made like that. Most just take the RX- from the 8 and the 7 from the CX-7. Looks great

you guys have to think BIGGER. take the R and the X from the RX-8 and the 7 from the CX-7 and WALLA you have yourselves a new logo. PAINT for desired color

The combo of the RX from the RX-8 and the 7 from the CX-7 is exactly what I'm thinking. I'm going to get the 2 emblems from the dealer and make one!

Now can someone put that into an electronic graphic file that could be used to create vinyl stickers?

 

Man, thats a good idea.... are they the same size/shape? I really don't want to put my BLACK emblems on my BLACK car... I was gonna shave it instead, but this is a MUCH better idea. Wonder how much the stealership will rape me for on those.

That looks good toastiepenguin. I tried a few ways of cutting the 7 like that, but I couldn't make it look right.

If I can come up with a good way to make a metal badge out of it I might put it on my car. I have a lot of other stuff going on though, it'll be a while until I can mess with that...

 

I just ordered CX-7, RX-8 and MAZDA emblems from the back of their respective vehicles...

I measured the lettering and they look perfect together.

EG21-51-721A "CX-7" : 28.45
EG21-51-710 "MAZDA" from CX-7 : 16.70
F151-51-721A "RX-8" : 21.45

Total: 66.60.

That is it! I knew someone out there in Club land could accomplish it.

One last request...could you make the 7 solid, as in the CX-7 logo? I would like to see what that looks like in a graphic format, compared to the 'cut' 7. Once I see that, I'll use whichever one looks better and have vinyl stickers made.

And once I do, you get the first one!
