It seems like it's only for FWD cars, but I could be wrong. It would probably be cheaper to get a Tii LSD (or GXL) anyway.

Keep in mind a GXL LSD would only fit in a NA rear and the TII LSD into a TII rear.

Kaaz and Mazdaspeed also make a couple. You're betting off with a used LSD or a Miata unit for the price. More power to you if you have the bank.

My dad had something similar i his 97 Jeep Wrangler, same idea at least, they are ok as in they do lock up, he would pull it up on three wheels when gassing it around a corner. It does lock in, but in my opinion too easily... it was kind of dangerous in the wet... could you use it? yes does it have its own problems, including breaking the little pins? (but this was with a jeep) yes Would i get it over a torsen LSD, aftermarket LSD, or a working Clutch LSD, NO.... i drove the jeep many times, and as i said, it was ok and even fun when wet for drifting (if you can drift in a jeep... lol) but i dont think i would like the characteristics in my car...

that works fine, and they are very, very durable. It's up to you whether you want to spend that kind of cash on it or not. But, they work well.

Thread from the dead

Here was the final choice:

$300 Phantom grip or
$35 S4 pumpkin from salvage yard.

I did the s4 pumpkin. Now the quest for enough power to actually spin a wheel so the lsd has something to do!
