is perhaps my TB already ported??

@ low rpms in a low gear the car is VERY jumpy, like, my sister grabs for the oh **** handle, i either have to increase rpms or let of gas and hit the clutch to calm it down. is maybe my TB already ported and butterflies removed, i wanted to do it anyway. its an 86 n/a. is there a way to check without taking it off?

thanks, K_rok

Hey man it's not that hard to check. just take the 2 or 3 nuts holding the plastic intake to the TB and look yourself easy as that. One thing i noticed when i got my TB ported was the line between on throttle and off throttle became very distinct in gears 1 - 3.

The TB mod does not cause those symptoms. Your problem is elsewhere; almost certainly a TPS that needs setting properly.
