Performance for an N/A?
I wanted to know where and how much i can get rb headers for and if i should get the msd ignition or jacobs?? Which intake should i get?? i just got my exhaust done and i love it, it has the stock look and the stock sound but i got the power increase. I plan on getting my car repainted the skyline blue, with some 16 inch white rims. What kind of power increases can i expect from what parts??
I just got my reverse indiglo gauges and 89-91 jdm tail lights and i just ordered black carpet. I want to redo my interior black instead of that ugly red color.

Geez, awful lot of spending going on. Just a question and I will be on my way....
How many miles on your NA?
Have you taken car of the BASICS first?
Have you performed a FULL tune-up on the car yet?
Are your sixports working right?
Have you had the compression tested?
Have you replaced the cooling hoses yet?
How are your brakes? stuts?
I recommend the BASICS before all of the "johnny lightning" bolt-ons. It may not be cool or flashy but either is going home on a flatbed with a toasted engine!

RB headers, 15-20 HP
MSD 6A, maybe 3hp and better torque and gas mileage?
It seems you have a 86-88 N/A RX-7 (series 4, S4).
The Series 5 (S5) was 89-91
I think you are starting off right with the headers. Headers give the rotary a MUCH better increase in power than pist0n engines by design. Next would be at least a K&N panel filter to help the exhaust.
Next, I recommend you make sure your 6-ports are working properly. Nothing hurts top end like sticking 6-ports. Then, port your intake manifold following my write up at the top of the 2nd gen page.
This should land you somewhere around 175-180bhp. Good enough for mid-high 15's in the quarter mile. Lose some weight and perfect your driving skill and you'll run solid mid 15's.
Next, ditch the stock shocks and get Tokico 5-way adjustable from www.mazdamotorsports.com for REAL cheap. (you'll have to compete in 2 small events like auto-x SoloII ) Then you should be able to outcorner most of the cars out there and have brisk enough acelleration to keep up with (or beat) most of the larger V6 and some of the V8's.
