Question Performance

I have a 1990 GTU with 106,000 miles on it. Its in perfect shape runs awesome everything. My only complaint is it minor lack of power, its a quick car but i would like it to be quicker. My goal is to be a taurus SHO, and i dont know if its feasable but ill try. So guys, i was thinking headers back exhaust, intake, and idk what else. What type of performance and HP gains should i get from the intake and exhaust? And what other mods should i look at? Thanks a lot.

not what they claim.........I have heard that true duals are the best for power gains but they are expensive......SHOs are quickand not to be taken too lightly, and the rare 5 speed is pretty damn quick. clutch flywheel, intake exhaust, S-AFC(with a dyno tune) you might have a problem with the 5th and 6th ports so you will need to wire them open......I can't think of anything else at themoment.....be back later.

Don't wire them open, but rather make sure they are working.

Use the search function.

aaroncake has a write up on how to test and clean the 5th and 6th ports.
