Don't even bother. I had power steering in my turbo and i took it out and replaced it with a manual rack. Theres just no point, its just as easy to turn while moving as it is with powersteering!

Jeez man, I just dumped the pump on my powesteering rack and I can't even notice the difference. Honestly, you probably won't end up gaining that much. That said, I've got a manual rack in the garage im not going to install now that i know how smooth the power rack is w/o the pump. Its up for sale.. Or ill install it and sell my power rack and pump if you feel that strongly about it.

I'd just say grow some muscles because I can't even tell the diference when the steering assist was removed...

Maybe hes choosing luxury over weight guyz. Its not hard to put P/S back in as long as the lines werent cut or something. I took mine out but only b/c I was on the weight loss program. P/S is useful between 0-30 speeds. After that its all gravy. But please dont bomb this guy for him wanting it back.. Hell I would want it back if I daily drive... I AM LAZY !
