Peaking headlights?? "I want some"

Been seeing quite a few 2nd gens with peaking headlights or nsx headlights. Is there a way to limit the position at which the lights come up? Adds alot of attitude to an rx7 in my opinion.

Haha, yea everyone says that about me. Im just curious because Im new to the rotary scene. I absolutely love my rx7 though its given me a ton of problems. Just the thrill that you have something thats pretty uncommon makes it worth that much more to me.

Do you have some sort of disorder. Seriously if you have nothing to do but to degrate people then you have serious social issues. Dont post if you have nothing good to say otherwise your just trying to dig yourself a hole. Anyways, I made this thread to see what you guys have done with your lights. I want some ideas.

Well, people get all pissy because the same questions come up over and over again. There was a thread last week that was about sleepy eyes again. No joke, type in the search box "sleepy eyes"

nsx headlights = sexy

they cost a grand easily, but ive seen people on nsx forums who sell them for like $200 or so when they do the 01 conversion.

as far as getting them to pop up at that height all the time, i believe theres some contacts in the retractor motor caps that could be altered.

Uhhh, this is RX7Club, not supraforums....

Wouldn't these lights not sit low enough to work properly with the USDM FTP lenses anyway? Unless you want it to look ghetto, you would need to make custom shrouds as well for these lights as well. Some people will claim that's easy, but the average newb won't be among those people

There is a great car called a Nissan 240SX for people who like the sleepy eye look. Those folks should sell their 7 and pick one up today

^i dont understand what your trying to say. only fucktards would shoot their headlights thru the ftp lense thinking its cool.

supra uses 6054 headlights, same as ours. Now that we know the nsx headlights fit on that car, they will fit ours as well with customizing of course, but who wouldnt expect you need to customize them anyways. The OP asks for some low profile headlights that dont pop up soo high, clearly cosmetics. But i think nsx headlights would look stupid on a FC if your all stock.. gotta have exterior mods to compliment it. =)

I'm talking about using the USDM FTP's in the intended way, as in when you want to flash-to-pass during daylight hours. Apparently you thought I meant something along the lines of wiring the headlights to be on all the time without being flipped up. That would be ******* retarded, very unsafe at night, and likely illegal. Plus, why would I even mention shrouds if my suggestion was to leave the lights down all the time? My point was that since the NSX housing isn't as tall, it would seem half of the light will be shining into the back of the bumper instead of out the lenses when you do flash them.

I agree with you that NSX lights as the only body mod would look kind of out of place. The only reason I referenced your post was because you posted up a Supra pic. At least show this kid an FC pic so he gets a better idea of what he would be looking at, like this

Ask for clarification if you don't understand something before calling people fucktards, bro. I got no beef with you. No need to make yourself look like an ***
