PCV TID Help
I got my cone and adapter in today. I started working on a custom 3in TID and make a CAI box. Went to LOWES to purchase a 2" to 3" adapter, 3" to 3" connect, a 45 or 90 degree bend, and a 3/4 hose for the stock bov and 1/4 for the other connection(still have emissions)
Problem 1:
The PCV pipes had connector ends and were not flat like the rest of the pipe.
Answer:
I dont have one
Problem 2:
I started to think, how do I make an adapter for my bov and other thing.
Answer:
I was going to tap in two new Valves, screw them in, tighten them with nuts on the inside, and use silicon as a gasket...then ran into problem 3
Problem 3:
By taping them, I would then mess up air flow because that would me I would have a tapped pipe for my BOV and emissions into my TID, which I thought would effect the air flow and response of emissions and bov.
Answer to my problems.....I put everything back and just bought the 2" to 3", 3" to 3", clamps, 3/4 and 1/4hose. I also got home and made my CAI box out of cardboard already and will cut it out prolly on thursday.
Ok, now my question for you guys. What do I do about the TID? How do I make the openings for the stock bov and emissions? Do I cut them off of my old TID, drill a 3/4in and a 1/4in into my new 3"TID then try to glue them on some how? What kinda glue if that is the case?
I was also thinking of just getting a pipe done, but i know if I get PCV I can get it done my self.
I am really at a loss, any help would be greatly appreciated(I am keeping emissions, so please no comments on getting rid of it, thanks)
EDIT:
Also checked the turbo, turbine fins looked to be in good shape(has 158k!), spun pretty good for so many miles...and best part, hardly any play at all! That made me pretty happy.

So I am still am at a loss.
For my BOV and emissions entrance into the TID, do I buy a small piece of pcv pipe that is 3/4in and another one at 1/4 inch, then drill a hole and glue it on there some way?
Look at this picture from someone elses set up, I cant quite figure out what they did.

And also, those 45degree bends look short, but one will do the job right?
Also, on different subject.... RADIATOR HOSE
I went to damn oriellys and they gave me the top and bottom hose for my radiator,
those damn things were about 2-3 times too short! Do I just ask for a generic hose?

Anyone ever do the TID mod with the air pump in place? The dude from greece did, but never gave a follow up on modifying so the pump belt would quit rubbing the TID.
Anyone?
Anyone?
