Question passengers side seat belt wet

anyone know of where water could be getting into my car? the only thing that is ever wet is the passengers side seat belt

my first thought was the sunroof but that all seems sealed up. nothing else is ever wet but the seatbelt is always soaked every time it rains

The sunroof has an inside drain pan with a drain tube at each corner.
The right rear drain is probably blocked or disconnected.

nope, just an approx 6" stretch of moistness on the belt at about shoulder/ upper arm level after the car's been sitting in the rain for a while, nothing else gets wet...strange...

Had the same problem...
You have to remove the plastic cover around the belts. Maybe even the ceiling. Then you can see a plastic tube that should be connected to a part of the sunroof. If it isnt water just drops into the car...

Well, the lap belt retractor is tucked into a pocket down low near the box section of the door sill. A wet belt there could mean water is getting in any number of places. It could be a clogged sunroof drain as mentioned above, or a bad door weatherstrip.

In my car, the problem is a rust hole in the floorboard about 18" in front of the passenger belt. You can look for this kind of thing by taking out the scuff plate, seat, and lifting the carpet. Or from underneath, you can push on the floor just inside the rocker panel seam. Mine is crunchy and has a 2" hole in it now:
