passenger side motor mount
I am transplanting a JDM motor in a 1988. My problem is the oil pan on the JDM motor is way different than the original. The original had mounts that screwed into the block through the oil pan, the JDM motor does not have the tapped holes in the block. The JDM motor has four studs on the passenger side. Do I need a Japanese passenger motor mount, or do I have to fabricate one? The exhaust manifold is also different because of the motor mounts, the outlet is way smaller than the original and the original will not bolt up to the JDM block because the studs are to long. I thought this was going to be a simple unbolt the original stuff and put it on the JDM, but boy was I wrong. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Hey rotary racer, if you could find the dimensions that would be great. This whole thing is about to drive me crazy. I got the engine from Gary Burke at Motorworks, he said there would be a lot of changing over of different things. That doesn't bother me, but this oil pan, motor mount thing and the exhaust manifold difference wasn't planned on. My JDM engine says it's a 13B also but it's sure not like the original. Hope the oil pan clears the rack when it goes back in! Thanks for any help you can give me.
