Parts from other cars that are compatible list!
Hello all, I came up with this idea. It's probably been thought of before. Anyway, I think we should start compiling a list of parts that are made for other cars. The parts have to work just as good or better with or without modification. An example would be the TPS a new one costs ~$300, I think, Now if we could find one from say a Ford it could be considerabilly cheaper. Anyway let the list begin.

The power antenna unit (not the control box, but the motor, shaft etc) is the same on early 90's saab 9000's. Just mark the wires on the old and new one, cut, swap, and reattach.
the BOV, flange, and intake tube from a 240SX (SR20DET, CA18DET, CA18ET i think too) will work with minor hack-saw usage

din size cupholder out of an old taurus.
of course, things like this and mustang rims arent fc-specific.
can anyone verify this? as in, someone that actually did this? $50 to put a seven on the ground is cheap. i realize its not gonna be some major handling improvement or anything, but i've got a good 5-6 inches of fender gap on the rear of my stripped out $200 beater gxl. looks like it has a lift kit on it or something.
also, s13 or s14? i'd assume s13...

i had a pair of universal coilovers in the garage and decided i'd try them on the rear of my stripped gxl, which had a huge fender gap. turns out they work just fine. they were originally off a 91 civic, put im pretty sure they're just standard universal coilovers.
im guessing they would work in the front as well. im sure they're more of a looks thing, as they rear has no supension travel, and the coilovers are around a 35% drop. im thinking if i drop them all the way it would tuck the rear wheels.

MkIII Supra AFM's are the exact same, numbers and all, for S4 RX7's. I only know of them matching NA's.
Almost all stock BOV's will fit, the one I know of for sure is the one off of the Mazdaspeed Protege.
