Part question (Below Radiator Cap)

So I was driving home the other day only to smell that sweet smell of spilt coolant sepping through my A/C vents. Turns out it wasn't my coolant line that burst but the small part below the radiator cap that contains the coolant line connector which actually managed to break off (god knows how). I've been searching high and low for this part and what it's actually called, heres some pics

Thanks for the feeback if any of you know what this parts called

And once I reinstall this part along wtih my cap, do I have to refill any liquids, e.g. coolant?

Replace, and top her off... or with a little bit of work you might be able to clean this one up with a razor blade and some sandpaper and use a longer piece of hose... you might not have enough room to get a hose clamp on the neck part though... kinda hard to tell from the pic

You might want to look for a used one from someone on the forum. $40+ is a bit steep if you ask me. But, if you have the money, then definitely get the new one.

Yeah, 40 is damn steep IMHO. There seems to be some meat left to the nipple (mmmmm, nipple). Anywho, there's real pressure there, you just need to make a good seal so the coolant sucks back in when the car cools off. If there isn't enough meat to provide a good seal, follow advice above.
