Part it out or sell it whole?

I have an 87 TII with a ported/polished 13bT from atkins (2000 miles), 720cc Primaries, S5 turbo/manifold, ACT S/S clutch, intake, S-AFC, Blitz SBC-id, new engine wiring harness, new engine mounts..... but the interior isn't so nice.... do u think I will get more money parting it out or selling it whole?

I don't have the patience nor the time to work on the thing... I'm going to be traveling a lot for co-op and need a car that looks professional and won't be a pain in the ***. I'll have to take pics of the interior of this thing and u'll understand. I am sure that there is someone out there that would like to fix it up and make it nice... I'm just not that person right now. I'm either working 60 hours a week and co-op and valet or im taking 19 credit hours and working 30 hours at valet.... I'm hoping to find an Acura Legend to use for a while and save up for an FD.

You might actually generate more $ parting it out(you might be surprised what all those little bits add up to - I know, I made over 2k off one not including engine, tranny, diff and other odds/ends), but when you take your time into consideration, it's hardly worth it. The other thing is time. It will take forever to sell it off piece by piece and it sounds like you need another set of wheels soon. Not to mention shipping stuff gets to be a pain pretty quick.

Don't part it out. That car is in fine shape. Yes, the interior is slightly faded, but that's not a big deal at all. I'll bet you could sell that car in the Enquirer for $5000, easy.

With the rarity of TII's around here, you can get almost any price you want. You should also post ads on www.cincinnatistreetracing.com and www.cincystreetscene.com as these are decent sized BB's with plenty of members.

Parting out perfectly driveable/fixable cars will get you sent to hell.

haha.... sorry zach.... I didn't really intend to part it out unless I would get screwed out of a couple thousand bucks. And I think it might cost a little more than $500 to fix up the interior. Did you see her after she got broken into? Poor thing Everything works well mechanically though!

I seriously doubt it'd be more than 500 to fix the interior.

Sell it to me...I could use another TII
