Part number for t-top section ?

local mazda cant find what i am talking about.

i am looking for the part that covers the section where the orange lever is to remove the t-top with the pin/push button.

its hard plastic and it completely hides those levers to also fold the top

help a fellow rotorite out :-P

wth are you talking? the fc rx7 never came as a t-top model, which is why teh guys at your local mazda dealership couldn't help you. if your fc is t-top, then it was a custom modification that one of the previous owners had done to the car. i would love to see pics of that thing.

i love t-top cars, i used to own a Z31 just because it was a t-top, and i miss that thing only because it was a t-top. please show us some pics of that thing

T-Top = solid unremovable bar in middle of roof splitting the two t-tops

Targa = no soild bar, one piece removable roof.

Mine just basically hung there and pissed me off.
I just cut the material that holds the plastic cover on and lived with the hinges exposed. The plastic thing kept coming down and would get in the way of undoing the hinge anyways,so it went Bye-bye.
But you can always refer to these:
Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals
