Panel Light control resistance range

Let's see if anyone can beat Hailers to this one which is right up his alley.

What is the range of resistance for the panel light control potentiometer? In other words, the dimmer switch for the dash lights.

I could put am ohm meter to a switch myself, but what fun would that be?
