Painting my RX-7. Need opinions.
What would be the best solid color for an FC? I am open to opinions.
Right now it is between black, white or deep blue. Anyone got pics of these that I can look at? I searched but most pics I see are ones of body kits and not stock. I have stock and would love to see these colors on a stock body.
Thanks!

Howdy,
I would pick the new Mazda factory color Vivid Yellow. This is a very nice yellow that's not too bright, and has a some red to it. It's on the new Protege 5 wagon, and the MP3. My 2 bits.

I would stay with the basic color you already have to some degree. In other words, if your already blue, go with a variation of the blue that is more up to date.
Unless you totally strip down the car and engine bay, you'll always look redone which is the ***** if you ever want to show your car in a group situation, like 7Stock.
What I'm doing is I have a white SE I'm going to redo. Thinking about a Pearl White. Close enough to look original.

I saw an FD like this, and omg it was sweet!!!
Anyway, here are 2 whites down in the sig.

Unless you are tearing down the whole car, it is best to stay with a stock-like color so the difference doesn't stare you in the face.
My personal favorite would be either a gun-metal gray or a deep blue like the Brave Blue that was available on later FCs. It is a very rare color.

I would say it's a toss up between black and black. Or maybe black. You might also consider black. If you really don't like any of those choices, the gunmetal grey that someone suggested would be a distant second.

Well I did the economical choice. After hearing it would be quite expensive for them to change colors, I decided to stay with the stock gunmetal/metallic silver color. But I'm lightening it up a few shades.
I appreciate the help a LOT and am saving all these pics. My fiance is looking to get a 2nd gen one day and we will use these to help decide what color to paint hers.
