Painting Entire Car

Hey I want to paint my white FC black including the engine bay.Can neone help me out here.Do i have to take everything out of the engine bay??If so,im afraid i wont put everything back together.Never done a job that big.Thx in advance.

best way to do it is strip it to just the metal being painted. Its easy of the engine will be out. Take a bunch of pics for reference and use a ton of baggies labeled. Sons white S5 was just done in this way - looks friggen great.

I'm painting my engine bay and yes, I'm removing just about everything in there. Theres no other way around it, you have to remove it all.

What I've done is put screws in certain bags and labeling them. Like I would have 5 screws for the bumper top part. 6 retaining nuts behind the fender, etc. Plus I took a lot of pics too and labeled each wiring connector.

yeah, label all the electrical connectors and vacuum lines (both ends) and take lots of clear pics. Name the pics something that will make sense days, months, or years from now.
