Painting dash

Recently found a great deal on an FC but it comes with a nasty blue interior. I'm going to change it to black eventually and was wondering if I should look for a used black dash or just paint it. Any downfalls or things to look for when painting interior pieces? Thanks.

Hahaha dude I just started a thread like this a couple of days ago. What I would is take it out and dye it not paint it. Use a Dye. Some people use that VHT dye that you get from summit racing. But I found a cheaper way to use a dye and that is a meltonian shoe dye. I buy it at a shoe store and it is a vinyl dye. You want to make sure you prep it good. Also what year is your 7.
