Painted my wheels, see what you guys think

Keep in mind my car is a little dirty the desert gets dusty and when it rains it makes car very dirty. I used duplicolor gunmetal grey with metal flake and some clear coat.I thought it turned out pretty good. I painted all but the outside lip of the rim. Tell me what you guys think.

Nice...it would look even better if the outer lip matched. If you can mask off the tires well, you can clean the lip and spray it all on the car.

Thanks everyone for the good replies.
And Jon88se, I painted it like this for a reason, IMO I think it looks better like this.

I know - just a difference of opinion thats all. Good job though, the finish looks nice and a lot of people have had good results with these wheel paints.

Same question. How much money, time, and work goes into painting rims?

I took each wheel off individualy, then I washed it as good as I could. I got some really fine grit sand paper, then taped of the lip with that blue masking tape ****. Put about 5-6 coats of the GM Grey, then 5-6 coats of clear. It ran me around $18 for everything, and I think it turned out pretty good fro the money.

Whoa those look great. I don't even like that style wheel normally, but I think it looks really good, especially with the silver lip. And I also think it contrasts nicely with the rest of the car's color. Nicely done.
