paint code
hi ,just joined,i recently bought a slightly vandalised 1988 rx7 red with 118000mls on clock.the back wheel arches are rusty, back spoiler ripped off and hole next to drivers door lock must have gained entry that way couple of minor dents but fairly good handles well, but i feel it is not as responsive as it could be might be due to leak in exhaust near manifold ?haven't checked yet. in comparison to the mazda rx2 and 3
which i had in the mid 70s if memory serves me right in top gear at 60mph if you floored the pedal it took off the rx7 doesn't do that.
the engine was reconditioned approximately 15000 mls ago i wonder?
anyway i need the paint code all i have is RH which is red but there are 3 reds what is the answer is the code in the chassis number ?
could do with a manual as i'm sure the motor has been improved on since i worked on an rx2
any help welcome
regards chris

Grammar. Use it.
You have Sunrise Red paint.

The paint code is located on the firewall and there is a sticker on the inside driver's side door. There may be other locations, but check those first.
Many of these questions can be found in the FAQ and 2nd Generation Sticky pages.
Also, a search for "paint code". There are more results than you care to read.
