ok guys, as you know im in the middle of a tranny swap, so i have some downtime. I was planning on removing the ps pump, and plugging the lines at the rack, which I have done.


So... when i turn from lock to lock, I get a good amount of loud clicking. It sounds as though its coming from he wheels, so in that area of the steering rack. Its the type of clicking that would be associated with CB joints if it were FWD.

Any ideas? Did I remove too much oil from the system?

Before plugging the system, I turned lock to lock 2 times to get the excessive oil out. Maybe too much?

BTW: where the hell do you buy a m16x1.5? I went to 4 dif places today and they couldn't even special order them. any ideas?
