Question oxygen sensor question

so i replaced my exhaust manifold with a header today, and with no room to work in, even in a n/a, i tried to unplug the oxygen sensor and take it off with the manifold out. trying my best, i attempted to unplug the wire way back behind the engine, but it would not disconnect, and the whole connection slipped right off of the wire back there. so my question is: how hard is it to find the wire to replace the end, or what are the side effects of not haveing the oxygen sensor connected?

Use that to take your intake off [if S4]..

The wire should be a small black one..

If you don't put it back on it'll hurt your freeway fuel economy.

Driving without an O2 sensor will cost you more than replacing it after a few thousand miles of driving. You can always cut the wires and crimp/solder new connections on.
