Oxygen sensor

I just read somewhere that the oxygen sensor is is in the downpipe/pre cat..


I dont have any of those..I took it our and replaced them with a race pipe...

I dont think that i lost my sensor..just having trouble locating it

if you have a downpipe its right near the turbo manifold you can see it under the hood

i woud assume its in the same location on an NA

mine's on my exhaust manifold...i've got an n/a though. dunno where it's at on the t2.

On the TII it would go on the precat but I have a corksport downpipe and there is a flange for it there. If you dont know what the o2 sensor looks like its this small metal cylinder that has a wire coming out of the top of it. Try and find the plug that it connects to. The plug is near the left side of the intercooler in that very narrow gap. Its a small black plug and you have to have small hands to get to it.
