oxygen senor rewire, GY color?
howdy, After noticing my fuel consumtion get less then 10 MPG, i deicded it time to hook the oxygen sensor back up, it might help and i need all the help i can get.
right now the oxygen sensor is only plugged into my AFG.
i looked in the FSM and the wire goes for it is GY, and after searching in a few post on here all i came up with is the wire is GRAY.
here is where i am tapping into the emmissions harness to get to the oxygen sensor wire, but there are 2 gray wires and a buncha other ones, any one decypher this one out for me? :P thanks

I forget the actual color of the o2 wire but the grey is only the shielding I believe. Anyways if you're getting 10mpg it's not the o2 sensor. your problem lies someone else

What he said. Reconnecting the O2 sensor won't help you. 10mpg indicates a serious leadfoot or a serious problem.
As for the wire, the outer insulator is gray but the inner insulator is black.
