Overheating problem in T2

Finally got my t2 running. It has 60k miles on it. It sat up for quite some time....
It doesnt leak any coolant. i replaced all of the heater and radiator hoses. It burns no coolant(id smell it) there isnt even any smoke coming out anymore. There is no coolant in my oil or anything. it runs perfectly. Great pull all the way to redline. Just over heats.. and brings the coolant system to a boil. Like I said, the old coolant sat in the system for about 9 years and I did find a lot of holes clogged... What do I do? i also have the orig thermostat. but it appears to be opening.. although I do not know.

When is it overheating? Idle? Low speed? Highway cruising? When driving hard?
