Overheating problem
When I drive my 87' n/a for a long time it gets real hot and starts to leak water. The water is leaking from the radiator cap. I replaced the cap with a new one and it wasn't overheating for a while. But now its overheating and leaking again. What can I do to fix it? Thanks.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
Do you lose coolant alot? Check the weep hole on the water pump for leakage. Check the plastic housing, where the cap goes onto, to se that it is not cracked and slow leaking, they comonly do this. Check adn replace thermostat with a mazda unit. Flush coolint system and be sure air is bled out with bleeder screw on radiator when you refill. You shouldnt have trouble after you do all this. IF you do, check the water seals for leaks of compression into coolant. With car at rest, open the cap(engine cool) and fill it as high as possible. Start the car with cap off. Coolant should NOT shoot out much. It should be able to maintain its level, after you bleed the air out of the system. IF it keeps going lower and gushes up and down, you have a shot engine that is slowly dying.
IF it maintains a good level with no turbulence, the engine is tight and your problem is external(pump, radiator, thermostat, leak).
