overheating..help please
ok..here it goes:
i was driving today (second time after i finally got it running) and kinda gave it a little test run...after a couple of those test runs (about 10-15minutes total driving time) i noticed the temp gage went up to about half way...also...when the car is on..i noticed some coolant from the radiator cap that goes from the radiator to the engine leaking(actually its not leaking from the cap itself..but from the neck..im thinking there is a broken seal there i can replace) ... also everytime i press on the the brake..turn the wheel i noticed that the dash lights dim quite a bit...thanks in advance for all the help

check your voltage level coming from the battery not the gauge
as for the coolant issue start off small and check the little parts first thermostat housing, cap, gaskets if that doesnt fix the temp then you have bigger issues

Hey, There is one thing I forgot to mention on AIM. You can check your fan to see if its still good:
With the engine off (obviously), start spinning your clutch fan. give it about 10-20 turns. It should not start free-wheeling. If it does, it may be time for a new fan.
