Overheating of Blown engine.
I have a questions here. My rear rotor blew about 2 1/2 months ago. My car mostly sat durring that time, I started it up 2 or 3 times. The engine will still run but idles really rough and has to stay above 1700k. This weekend it is finaly warm outside and I have my rebuilt engine on the way so I would like to move my car over to my friends garage where I am going to stick the engine in. I was able to get the engine running again after being pretty flooded, but now the engine runs REAL hot. I started the car and let it idle for about 10 min, then I drove it around for about 5 min, when I go back to my house it was running hot and then I just died on me. That night I started it up again, it was just slightly flooded, and drove it a little bit, and it was not getting hot like before. Well, not today, I started it up again, it was not flooded, idled it for about 5 min, then idled it at about 3.5k for about 10 min, the engine was getting REAL hot again.
I was wonder what this could be? Could I also damage any else on my car because I would not like to replace everything on my car. I dont realy care about hurting my engine, since it is already gone, but I would not want to damage anything else on my car.
Also, before my engine blew I never had overheating problems.
Sorry for the long post
thanks
