overheated!

Question overheated!

on the weekend i was on the freeway and all the sudden my add coolant sign pops out and i saw the temp gauge hiting the 3/4 even a lit bit more so i stop the engine and exit the freeway when i stop i just had 1/2 of the water hose! so i went to buy the water hose add coolant and turn the engine on and drive it home for like 15 min then i notice the addc oolant came up again and i finally got home with thw temp 1/2 ways then i notice my water pump was leakink water! tomorrow i will replace the water pump how can i chek for any damage into my engine?

It sounds like you may have caught it early enough.

Nearly half of the rotary engine's cooling is done by the oil, so it was overheated also.
It's recommended that you change the oil after an over heating event.

After you get all the leaks fixed and the trapped air out of the cooling system, just keep a lookout for any new symptoms.

My car over heated..First i tried red line coolant and coolant flush at a auto place but didnt work out..So i had to swapp the radiator..Oh yeh and if you do swapp the radiator buy a brand new hose because it leaks nor rip about this time of season + age..
