well i am pretty sure that i chunked a rear apex seal. the mazda factory compresion tester will read zero on anyting undre 3kg/cm. so the rear came up zero and front had almost 4. also when i pulled the trailing plugs outta the rear it had clean marks where somehting had hit it. like the apex seal or something lol

A gasket/seal kit from Atkins, which you can commanly buy on ebay goes for $115.
The rotor seal kit goes for about $350-$450.

That is everything you need to replace ALL the engines seals and gaskets for the rebuild.

You won't really know what you'll need until you crack it open. If I were you and had "chunked a rear apex seal" I would be more worried about finding a rotor and housing. There's some pics floating around of some pretty trashed rotors. Maybe not, but you've got to get in there to see. You might not need side-seals but I would think you'd want new rotor oil seals, the rubber part anyway. There's a lot of measuring to do once it's all apart to see what's out of spec.
