Well one time when i was going down the highway my pedal got stuck too,i just turned it off and pulled onto the side of the road. it turned out to be the cruise control getting stuck. well i had reved to about 8000 for a couple of seconds and it hurt nothing. im sure if you left it there it would start to damage the engine, but dont worrie about it.

Talking Whine whine whine

pokin fun at you !

Just starting your motor in the morning can casue damage, Instead of berating people for not being at your beck and call take it to a shop and run a compression check, this will tell you if your seals were damaged or not (providing that you have done it before and remember the numbers)

the possibility for damage exists honestly bearings if your oil pumps weak, stationary gears: cracked chipped teeth, all kinds of things could have happened but the engine still runs right? so more than likely no damage

everyone I talk to on here says its good to redline your motor. it's doubtfull if anything happen to your car. There is a video of a guy redlining his rex for like what 8 or 10 minutes straight and finally it overheated but only because they took of the rad cap.

^What fascinates me is why somebody would do that sort of thing, even if they already had a new motor lined up. They could of at least sold it to somebody that needed it.

yeah but I'm glad they did it! The engine was taking one for the team the way I see it. It was a good science experiment
