Over heated my engine

So my radiator cracked while I was on the freeway and I hadnt noticed till my car was all the way hot. I got off at the next exit and pulled over to the side to let it cool. Let it cool for awhile and put some water from a couple of water botttles I had in my car. Car was having trouble starting after that, but I finally got it started, and was able to drivwe to the nearest gas station. I fuilled the radiator totally full so I could get it back home, but it would not start at all after that, even when it was totally cold. Im wondering if my engine is shot now, or maybe what the problem could be. It turn, but it doesnt even begin to sound like its gonna start. So if anybody knows whats wrong, or has had something similar, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Things warp like mario brothers due to heat.

Check compression. All the way hot is bad.

Oldschool is funny as hell.

Maybe the short trips and turning the car on and off flooded it. Pull the underhood EGI INJ fuse, crank the motor for a few seconds, replace fuse, and try to start it up then.

yea, I did try that a few times. Im checking compression tomorrow. Funny thing is, when I pull the egi fuse, the engine sounds exactly the same as it does when its out. So its not trying to run at all with the fuse in. I wonder if thats another problem

So ive checked my compression, and its reading at about 30. Is that right? would it read that low even if it needed a rebuild? Maybe Im not checking it correctly. Any help out there?

Yea I know. Ive had some issues with it flooding before, and when I try to start it, it sounds like it is. Ive tried the egi fuse like before, but still no luck. Just sounds like its turning and turning, but not jumping like its trying to start
