over boosting....

ok...installed RB 3 inch turbo back yesterday and tonight i was seeing boost creeping up to 14-15psi....scary considering i dont have any fuel mods.....suppose i rewire the walbro...is it safe up to those PSIs?......what can i do to keep the creeps down....i know portin the wg will help..blah blah..but too much down time...im looking for something to keep it down while im working on the s5 turbo wg (being ported)

Is the Walbro already in? That may be what's saved it from detonating so far.
Temporary safety measures without porting the waste gate:
Retard the timing.
Remove the FCD.

I had just gutted my cats when I broke an apex seal 3 weeks later, boosting 14.
It's why I'm running a J-spec with a ported waste gate now.

Do yourself a favor and stop boosting until you get some fuel mods. Even with a fcd and a walbro I still wouldnt boost near 15psi.
