outside door handle and heater conrtols

outside door handle and heater conrtols
I replaced my drivers outside door handle, i hooked everything back up right but the door will still not open from the outside only from the inside can anyone help? and also my heater conrtols only have hot air on the defrost and floor anyone help there eather?
