Other than timing, what can cause a misfire?

Other than timing, what can cause a misfire?

When driving, usually when under boost or when first accelerating from a stop, my car will "hiccup" a bit. Not like a major bucking or anything, but you can definately feel a momentary slight loss of power. I have a new set of plugs Im putting in Wednesday, anything else I should look at?

How can I test to make sure my coils are working well?

RETed, didn't you forget the most obvious thing? TPS-plug it in! Personal experience---

If he didn't have the TPS plugged in, it would probably be idling at around 2.5-3k, so I think he would SORT OF notice.

Second, if it was the TPS, it would have problems more often then just accel from stop, or under boost. So..I'd rule that out immediately.

Listen to RETed - he owns j00.

Having no TPS won't make it idle at 2.5-3k. Also, it's easy to have a dead spot in the TPS but the rest of the range be perfectly fine.

Some more longshots:

Spark wires running too close to CAS wires.
TPS resistor about worn out & starting to give an erratic signal.
Loose/dirty injector plug contacts.

Do you still have the plugs in from when you got the car from me? If so, those are probably fuel fouled out the ***.

Oh wait, you replaced them when you mixed up those lines. That was still a long time ago, probably need some new ones. Going to get it tuned anytime?

Yea, I have the 8 month old plugs in now. Hopefully after the holidays, I will have some money to take it somewhere.
