Other fuel leak
I replaced the inlet fuel line to the primary rail, due to a pinhole leak in the hose that I first thought was a pulsation damper problem. Now that I have the top of the engine off I plan to replace the 'spider' and injector grommets too. Does everyone generally replace the pulsation damper at this point, even if it shows no signs of failure? I'm trying to stay within a budget but I don't want Mt. St.Helens erupting in front of me either!

Replace it! After 14 years in that HOT area, the diaphragm in it is probably just about ready to crack! I just replaced a leaking one on my '87!

Thanks. Does Mazdatrix have the cheapest one? Price is now around $125. The '89+ fuel rail, also at Mazdatrix, is only a few bucks more - I hate these decisions....
