OT: my backup vehicle

Hey guys. I just bought a scooter as a backup vehicle for when my RX7 goes to the shop. It cost me $250 for the two identical scooters, one is for parts. Now, i cleaned the carb, got the battery to a good voltage, and tried cranking her. She doesnt seem to start. She used to start for half a second after i stopped cranking before i cleaned the carb. Now that i've cleaned the carb, it doesnt seem to be starting at all. the air fuel mixture seems pretty decent. Looks like good compression, good spark.. But i am not experienced with boingers. Any pointers? i have the FSM for it... and its not very helpful.

Have you tried a fuel cut switch?

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

LMFAO!!! no, but i've tried cutting out the fuel, and not much success with that since the carb has its own little fuel supply
