For this application he needs TII flywheel/clutch which is probably OS giken which he got? Besides correct counterweight (s4 or s5, matching rotors and front counterweight) it should be all plug & play. My OS giken twinplate works ok with stock TO bearing and fork, no adapters required. Only adater used with these clutches/flywheels is on FD's for converting from pull type to push type.

I have that clutch on my T2 its not that hard to drive. Theres no adapter that i could see just a counter weight flywheel then the plates go in the flywheel disk-plate-disk-plate-cover then the nut. I think the adapter your talkin about is the counter weight i hear you can use the one from an auto tranny

Agreed that it's way overkill for the setup. But to answer your question, as long as you still have the auto counterweight you're good to go on the install. Let us know if it is truly a bitch to drive or not after you get it broken in.

it's not a waste of a clutch if he allready has it
Don't dump your new clutch on sticky tires unless you want to be upgrading the rest of the driveline as well
You need an S5 NA auto counterweight. As long as it's the same bolt pattern as the S5 TII counterweight it should work. Except that your NA tranny may not work with the splines on the OS giken. So then you'll need a TII trans too. And an adapter-driveshaft. Or TII Diff and TII driveshaft.
Really quite a pain in the ***! Just go buy an ACT.
