Opinions regarding painting an FC.

I would like your opinions in regards to painting an FC.

What color for the exterior? Colors options are:

Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Grey, White, Black.

Please note that these are the basic colors, as listing metallic yadda yadda yadda or xxxx w/ pearl would make it too complicated. Besides, there are some really awesome color combinations out there, but I'm limiting it to make it easy to get a general poll here. Any other "basic" color, not listed will be added upon suggestion.

For the engine compartment, should I just paint it standard engine black OR should I paint it the same color as the exterior? What is your opinion of a black engine compartment w/ the non-black exterior? Yay or Nay?

BTW, the car is already white. It is just hidden underneath what looks like OEM dirt! And since I've already owned a white car before, I'm learning towards NOT painting it white as it can be a pain to keep clean. But, it is still a color that I will consider. Also, black is a color that I am leaning against as well, but will still be considered.

All opinions are welcome.

i would paint it white or black. I would also make sure to paint the engine bay the same color as the outside. its a dead giveaway that its been repainted when the engine bay is a different color than the exterior.

Well before i read that you already had a white car, i was going to yell white, i have become attached to that color, but if your leaning away from white the colors i think would look nce would be the yellow, like the 3rd gens, a green if it was a dark green, non of that lime F&F green, im not sure about blue, or the rest

as for painting the engine bay, u nless it was a really light color aka white or yellow id say paint it the same color

If you go blue I think it would be cool to go Mazda's Harbor Blue. Maybe its cause thats what I've got but I thinks it good to keep original colors.

White definately rocks.
Have fun
