Opinions on RAZO pedals?

I was thinking of getting some RAZO pedals but I'm worried about a few things. First, are they easy to install? I assume they're universal from the product descriptions I've seen online. Also do your feet slip when it's wet? Do they ever slip off or anything? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Depending on what pedal you choose. Some pedals require you to drill through the original pedal and basically screw in the new ones. This will ensure that it'll NEVER slip off. Then again, the universal ones *the one i got, do just as good of a job IMO. I've had the same pedals for over a year and it's great! I have the carbon fiber ones from Razo. It's got little rubber pieces sticking up from the pedal for your feet to have traction on, and I live in Seattle, so rain is definately a factor and I've had no problems yet. Even with my feet wet, it's all goods. My biggest problem with the pedals and it's becasue of me and the car I ahve it in more than the pedals themselves, are that if I wear a dress shoe or anything with a wide base on the shoe, i can't press down on the accelerator with the flat part of the foot, I have to use the edge. It's in an 88 Rx7 so there's not much room plus I have big feet. *Size 12. Anyways, Hope this helps and good luck on your mod!

Peace,
AJ ^_^

They're easy to install..they come with a 2-sided tape to hold them in position and act as a cushion while you screw the fastening clamps on over the existing pedal.

One thing to look out for with these that's potentially dangerous -your shoelaces can hook on the mounting screws behind the pedals (I dremelled mine off).

I found an as good as new set of Razo pedals in a dead anni. ed. that was sitting in a bone yard. Asked the guy at the counter how much he'd charge for pedal covers, and he says Ehhh don't worry about it. I was like coooooool, let me get my tools.
I like how they fit and Other than the previously mentioned caught shoelace I've had no ploblems with them.

my brother gave me a set for xmas and i had to acctually cut the gas pedal down to get them to fit like i wanted. after all the work doing thet i trimmed the bolts down to solve the shoelace problem (i only let it happen once, almost wrecked). after that i have no complaints i was able to mix and match the included bushings to get the gas pedal the right height for blip shifting. i will never go back to oem pedals in fc's.

I just noticed your other question about if they're wet are they slippery? I have the Razo race pedals and yes, they are slippery when wet - I am just more cautious with foot position until they're dry after a few minutes. I think it depends on what type you get too. Mine just have holes with inward bevels, but living in FL they dry pretty fast.
